Manalangin tayo para sa pagpapanibago ng Lipunang Pilipino

Dear brothers and sisters:
Peace be with you!

Since the release of CFC’s Panawagan Para sa Pagpapanibago ng Lipunang Pilipino, there have been major and unprecedented developments in our society that should move us to kneel, pray, fast, and act, all the more.

Indeed, “History… is not in the hands of the powers of darkness, chance or human decisions alone. When evil energy that we see is unleashed, when Satan vehemently bursts in, when a multitude of scourges and ils surface, the Lord, the supreme arbiter of historical events, arises. He leads history wisely towards the dawn of the new heavens and the new earth… God is not indifferent to human events but penetrates them, creating his own ‘ways’ or, in other words, his effective plans and “deeds”… (Pope Benedict XVI)

We continue to seek God’s intervention. Hence, the CFC International Council enjoins everyone to pray. For the leaders and members in the Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao, and the Metro Manila missions, as well as the Filipinos in the international mission, we ask of you to include this special prayer in your household meetings and prayer assemblies:

“PANALANGIN PARA SA PAGPAPANIBAGO NG LIPUNANG PILIPINO

Amang Makapangyarihan,

Kami po ay lumalapt sa Inyo
na dala-dala ang mabigat na suliranin ng aming bayan.

Lalo po kasi Kaming nanlulumo, nagagalit, hinahamon at pinapakilos
rng mga nagsisilabasang impormasyon
ukol sa katiwalian sa pamamahala sa aming bayan.

Sa gitna ng lahat ng ito, nananalig kami na
Kayo po ay nagmamatyag at kumikilos sa lipunan at kasaysayan
nang may pagkalinga at pagmamahal.

Hinihiling po namin ang grasya na makita at maintindihan
ang Inyong plano at katusuhan.

Gabayan po Ninyo ang paglakis ng aming lipunan para
matuwid ang kabutukan, matama ang mali,
papagunitin ang may kasalanan at ampatakin ang katarungan,
nang may kahinahunan at walang anumang karahasan.

Nawa ay patuloy po Ninyong pagpanibaguhiin
ang aming mga puso, ang aming pamilya at ang aming bayan.

Ang lahat ng ito ay samo’t dalangin namin sa Ngalan ng Iyong bugtong na Anak, ang aming Panginoong Hesukristo.

Amen.

We also enjoin our non-Filipino brethren to pray for our respective countries and include in our prayers an end to corruption.

On September 21, 2025 (Sunday) from 11:30AM to 5:00PM, CFC will have a Live Facebook broadcast, for all of us to have the opportunity to:

1. Recite the Holy Rosary together.
2. Join the Eucharistic Celebration at National Shrine of Mary, Queen of Peace, Our Lady of EDSA (EDSA Shrine), through online live coverage/cross-posting thereof.
3. Join in praying together the Panalangin Para sa Pagpapanibago ng Lipunang Pilipino.
4. Pray for one another and share our thoughts and prayer petitions.

With our country and our society in our constant prayers, let us continue to rejoice, take courage and return to Galilee. May God bless us all!
