Couples for Christ (CFC) marked a meaningful milestone as it celebrated the 11th anniversary of its mission in Nagaland on October 4, 2025, at the Mary Help of Christians Cathedral in Kohima, India.
For more than a decade, CFC Nagaland has been a living witness to God’s faithfulness as they spread the joy of community and sustained a vibrant faith life amidst diversity.
The solemn Eucharistic celebration presided over by Most Rev. Dr. James Thoppil, Bishop of Kohima, became both a thanksgiving and a recommitment to the mission of evangelization. His words of encouragement and pastoral support have continuously inspired the CFC community to deepen their unity in Christ and serve with renewed zeal.
Leading this celebration of gratitude were Basil and Suchita Toppo, Country Heads; Alfred and Mary Grace Alejo, Country Coordinators; Mengukhristuo Marcus and Keneiü Angela, Cluster Heads and Evangelization & Mission Heads; and Martin Anthony, Family Ministries Head and full-time missionary in India. Together with chapter heads Zasi Stany, Kehouletuo Alexander, Kiusumong Joseph, Menuhol Vincent, and Buni Dominic, they have journeyed faithfully in spreading the Gospel and strengthening families across the region.
Also joining in thanksgiving were guest priests Rev. Fr. Loyola, Rev. Fr. Vemedo Kezo of Mary Help of Christians Cathedral, and Rev. Fr. C. M. Joseph, SDB of Christ King Parish in Kohima Village, whose presence further highlighted the spirit of collaboration between clergy and lay communities.
As CFC Nagaland steps into a new chapter of mission and discipleship, the community embraces a renewed vision—to continue building a “new relationship of love with God and one another”, anchored on prayer, service, and the power of the family as a domestic church.
With grateful hearts, we praise God for His unconditional love and mercy upon CFC Nagaland!
