Central B Holds “3-in-1@32” Evangelization Rally

Couples for Christ Central B kicked off 2018 with a harmonious display of unity at an Evangelization Rally held at the Pasig Central Elementary School on March 18. Titled “3-in-1 @ 32” and anchored on the scripture verse from 1 Corinthians 12: 6, the gathering was a fitting reminder that there are many different gifts and ways of serving, yet there is one God who is at work in all. The rally ran parallel with the commemoration of Central B’s 32nd anniversary.

The rally began with a parade with the sector’s units and members of its ministries enthusiastically marching to the beat of CFC’s theme song, led by the sector’s senior members.

After the opening worship led by Palatiw Chapter Head Jun Dulin, Sector Head Art Molato gave the introductory talk where he touched upon Central B’s history, current state and challenges, and what to look forward to in 2018.

“Today we reflect on and proclaim God’s faithfulness which He has manifested in us since the very first CLP happened in Barangay Kapitolyo way back in 1986,” said Molato. He called on members to remain steadfast and faithful in their commitment to mission despite the present challenges within and outside the community.Molato reiterated that God’s call for Central B is to be bold, to be courageous, and to be strong in its commitment to reach out to people who long to hear the Good News of Christ.

Board of Elders member and former CFC Chairman Joe Tale delivered the main talk titled “Rekindle the Gift… Fulfill Your Ministry”, echoing CFC’s theme for this year. His rhetorical question, “Are our hearts still burning?” kept the members engaged as Tale exhorted everyone to rekindle their dependence on the Holy Spirit.

According to Tale, having a strong prayer life and living by example is the best way to bring Christ to others. He added that gifts are a manifestation of God’s goodness and therefore must not be hidden but used for the glory of God.

At the end of the talk, Tale led a Prayer of Empowerment to invoke a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit and rekindle the gifts within each individual so that they can evangelize and share God’s transforming love.Kalawaan Chapter Head Rigo De Dios led the closing worship and mini-praisefest, which was followed by Holy Mass presided by Rev. Fr. Roby James of Bahay Pari, Holy Family Parish in Kapitolyo.

Everyone was filled with a renewed passion to carry out the mission and spread the fire of God’s love. By the grace of the Holy Spirit, CFC Central B will overcome the challenges and hold on to God’s promise of amazing things to come. (Lalen Chavez)
