It’s a Boho-themed party for the MM MC!

After the celebration of the Holy Mass presided by Rev. Fr. Benedict Jason P. Lopez from the Diocese of Baguio, and concelebrated by Fr. Ronald Magbanua, CICM, from Mongolia, Fr. Marco Coloma from Ecuador and Fr. Rober Martinez of Peru, the Metro Manila Mission Core spent Friday evening relaxing, rejoicing and rekindling memories with a Boho-themed fellowship night.

Robert Labayen, Sector Head for MM South A, opened the night via worship, inviting everyone to appreciate CFC as one family, one community, and one tribe. Creatively, the handle of the fellowship was ‘Tribu de Cristo’ or Tribe of Christ. The mission core members looked stunning and dashing in their Bohemian-style outfits. As emcees Edralin and Rosan Callueng of South A explained, the Bohemian style dated back to the French revolution when people chose to go back to the basics, and opt for a simple and relaxed life. Music from the 70s filled the air during the open mic segment.

After the party and the closing prayer, the following were given special citations: Best dressed for the female category - Ditas Garcia, while Jun Santiago received the award for the male category; and Boyet and Precy Ditangco - best dressed couple.

It was an evening of clean fun and fellowship, a fitting usher for the Solemn Charge Weekend Retreat the following day.  (Yvonne Grace Dolorosa)
