PACEP Now Part of Intelligence School Curriculum

On March 2 and 3, 2017, CFC Order of Saint Michael (OSM) conducted Module 1”Only for The Brave” and Module 2 “The Strength to Succeed” for 100 enlisted students of (TIS) The Intelligence School, Philippine Army. The program is part of the school’s curriculum as approved by the School Commandant, LTC Marilou S. Layugan.

The overview was delivered by Army Chief Chaplain, Col. Fernando G. Gaila CHS (MNSA). Module 1 speakers were (Ret) Col. Arturo Alabanza, (Ret) MGen Wilfredo Ona,  Chito Cubacub (East A Sector Head). Ex Funtera, CFC USA Country Coordinator was the sharer for the session on “Defending Our Families, Building our Homes”.

For the second day, speakers were MGen Ona, Art Molato (Central B Sector Head), Mon De Leon and Col. Alabanza. The inspirational talk was delivered by the Assistant Commandant, MAJ Terence  P.  Ylanan.

During the pilot seminar last Aug 2016, LTC Marilou S. Layugan expressed her concern about the gap in the curriculum and stressed that “Intelligence should include character, integrity and honesty. Without conviction for these values, performance will be of no value”. With these in mind, the program will be integrated into the curriculum beginning this year.  Thus; PACEP will regularly be conducted every February, June and August of the school year.
